Q.Light Skin Care Systems

Biostimulation by light energises skin cells directly, enabling them to function and reproduce more efficiently. Microcirculation in the small blood vessels of the skin is increased and perfusion across cell boundaries is improved, so assisting with the removal of waste products. Light therapy therefore makes skin look healthier because it is healthier!

Natural sunshine provides some of these benefits too, but it also contains ultra violet light which can damage and age the skin That is why all Q.Light devices exclude ultra violet and only deliver carefully balanced, visible and near infra-red light frequencies to energise the skin to restore natural cell function, boost collagen formation and to repair damage caused by environment and the ageing process. With regular application fine lines can be reduced, not merely masked, as the skin regains elasticity.

As well as the primary benefit of light therapy in itself, when moisturisers are applied after light therapy the take-up is increased. This gives a secondary benefit and improves the effectiveness of your own cosmetic programmes.

Q.Light Home Care

Q.Light Home Care has a simple on/ off control and a fixed filter which blocks all ultra-violet and infra-red light, so it will not aggravate sensitive skin. It will treat up to 25cm diameter (10 inches) at a time, so the whole face can be covered in a single treatment in as little as three minutes.

As well as beauty treatments it provides therapy for a range of family medical problems such as dermatitis/psoriasis, muscle strains, arthritis and even wounds. Remember that light therapy works by helping the body to heal itself so no home should be without a simple but effective Q.Light Home Care unit!

There are no loose components and there is a choice of stands, depending upon how wish to use your Q.Light. All the stands for Q.Light Home Care have a ball joint which enables the Q.Light to be turned or angled into a wide variety of positions and all Q.Lights come supplied with a short grip for hand-held use away from the stand.

Q.Light Skin Care

Q.Light Skin Care takes you to the next level of light therapy treatment and opens the doors to more specialised treatments and to colour light applications, including colour therapy. It has the same simple on/off control and generous treatment area as Q.Light Home Care but instead of a fixed filter it accepts a range of optional medical, cosmetic and colour filter modules. It also provides near-infra red light, which is either passed or bocked by the different filter modules, according to the therapy selected.

Q.Light Skin Care is ideal for home users seeking a truly flexible light therapy treatment device and is also suitable for professional health and beauty treatments. Home users or professionals requiring an easily portable system can purchase Q.Light Skin Care with the lightweight folding Home stand or for salons the Regular (Standard) stand (see animated picture above) is recommended.

Q.Light PRO

Q.Light PRO is the ultimate non-laser phototherapy device, intended primarily for medical and cosmetic professionals, but also available for home purchase if desired. Q.Light PRO shares the same range of optional filter modules with Q.Light Skin Care for treatments with or without near infra-red, but adds a four-stage aperture control, a built in timer for accurate treatments and an electronic display panel. It also offers greater power, which allows shorter treatment times and/or wider treatment areas, up to 40cm (16 inches) diameter.

Q.Light PRO can be used with either the Regular (Standard) stand or the PRO-Plus trolley-based stand for advanced salons or treatment centres. It is not suitable for use on the Home stand.

Q.Light Skin Care Module

Using the Skin Care filter module energises and stimulates the natural skin repair mechanisms, supports skin cell metabolism and activates collagen and elastine fibre production, for a younger, smoother and healthier skin. See enlarged picture of photomodulation of cells. The natural biological processes of the skin cells are brought into balance and enhanced microcirculation optimises the oxygen supply.

This module is recommended for:

Q.Light Anti Ageing Module

Using the Anti Ageing filter module helps to counter the effects of the natural ageing process and in particular the effects of ultra-violet radiation, poor nutrition or smoking can be positively and visually improved. See enlarged picture.

Retarding of ageing processes
Enhancing of microcirculation
Stimulation and regulation of the skin's repair mechanisms

Combined application together with proprietary anti ageing creams or ampoules

Activation of local and systemic microcirculation
Stimulation of skin repair mechanism
Support of collagen and elastine fibre production
Optimizes and deepens the effect of anti ageing products

The positive effect of treatment with the Anti Ageing module is principally due to the up to 45% enhanced microcirculation in skin and tissue. The clearly improved perfusion in blood capillaries, the higher concentration of growth factors for cell renewal and the optimised oxygen transport function of circulating blood lead to renewal and reactivation of skin and tissue cells. The natural moisture production of cells is also supported. As a result the skin looks and feels younger, smoother and more supple.

Q.Light Cellulite Module

The Q.Light CELLULITE Module is designed to support metabolic processes and to stimulate lymphatic activity as well as for combined application with anti cellulite cosmetic creams or ampoule cures. Due to the scientifically proven enhancement of microcirculation and regulation of metabolic processes of fatty cells, weakness of connective tissue is reduced, lymphatic drainage is reactivated and waste products are flushed away. The tissue can regenerate itself, the skin becomes smooth and toned and the amount of captured fat stored in cells is diminished. Visible toning and tightening of the connective tissue is the result without any surgical operation.
