Cancer

No, unfortunately we do not have a home therapy for cancer just yet.  Please check back in a few years!

Non-invasive, painless procedure

What we can do is provide information about painless and non-invasive CyberKnife® radiosurgery and how you can go about obtaining treatment for yourself or a relative.   Details are contained in the professional section of this site but are freely available to all.

Many patients now research treatment options for themselves on the internet and the information found can be of variable quality.  We offer a downloadable fact sheet to take and discuss with your doctor and further assistance is available through our principals.  In some cases treatments are paid for by national health insurers such as the UK National Health Service, though it must be warned that the bureaucratic procedures can be slow.

CyberKnife®  was originally used mostly to treat brain and spine cancers including acoustic neuroma and other conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia and arteriovenous malformations (AVM)

As medical software has advanced however certain tumours of the lung, liver, kidneys, pancreas and prostate can also now be treated, sometimes as a stand-alone treatment and sometimes in association with other treatments.  Breast cancer is not yet treated with CyberKnife® but metastases from this into other areas of the body may be.

There is no CyberKnife® operational yet in the UK or Ireland but Medilux Healthcare Ltd represents both the European CyberKnife® Centre (ECZM), which is based in Munich, Germany and the Iatropolis Tomography Centre in Athens, Greece.  ECZM is a specialised CyberKnife® centre which accepts international patients for brain, spine and lung conditions.  Iatropolis is a modern, multi-disciplinary centre which offers the full range of CyberKnife® treatments to international patients as well as other supporting medical treatments.

Most of MHL's enquiries are self-referrals from patients or their relatives from around the world and they have considerable experience in guiding both patients and doctors as to which conditions may be suitable for treatment and and how to proceed.
